Beauties of Agriculture

Poultry is the rearing of all animals catergorised as domestic fowl e.g. Chicken, Duck, Turkey, Quail, Goose, Geese e.t.c raised for food (meat or egg)

Livestocks are categorised as domesticated farm animals selectively bred to live with or around humans e.g. Cattle, Pig, Goat, Sheep, Ram, Rabbit e.t.c reared mainly for meat and regeneration. 

Root and Tuber Crops are plants that are mainly harvested underground. Their fruits are grown beneath the soil unlike its other counterparts that are harvested on the surface of the soil e.g.cassava ( Manihot esculenta Crantz), yam ( Dioscorea spp.), sweet potato (Ipomoea batatas L.), potato ( Solanum spp.) and edible aroids ( Colocasia spp. and Xanthosoma sagittifolium ).


Vegetable is any part of a plant that is consumed by animals (human respectively)  as food as part of a savory meal.It is also referred to as a plant raised for some edible part of it,such as the leaves, roots, fruits or flowers.e.g.Tomato,Pepper,Onion,Carrot,Spinach,Lettuce e.t.c

Fish are cold-blooded vertebrate animals that lives in water, moving with the help of fins and breathing with gills. They are exclusively important sources of protein and other nutrients. They spend virtually their entire life in water e.g Tilapia, Catfish, Salmon, Crab e.t.c

Poultry, Roots and Tubers, Fisheries, Vegetables and Livestocks are all that contributes to the beauty of Agriculture
